I know I waited until the middle/end of summer for this resolution but I have a big Beach Vacation coming up in September (and some of us don't have summer vacation anymore). I went through pinterest (weird I know) looking for some inspiration, etc for working out from now until then (36 days!). I came across these great and super simple plans pinned from Downtownn.tumblr.com for a begginer's plan as well as a phase two plan.
Now I wouldn't call myself a beginner but I do really need to get back into the swing of things. Motivation is what I'm lacking. I couldn't see myself only doing 1 or 2 moves a night and being satisfied, so I conbined the 2 plans to make one super awesome plan. This is definitely more my speed. Where it says to jog for however many minutes I've decided to substitute 30 minutes on the elliptical since I can't jog without hurting myself apparently.

Sounds like you've got a great plan! Just be careful not to overdo it. It's generally not good to work the same muscle group two days in a row, because it doesn't have time to recover. You might want break days or easy days more frequently. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI thought that too but the sets are so tiny I didn't think it would be that big a deal. I'll definitely adjust as I go - I realized last night that there are no arms in there and I really want to add that. Thanks! :)
