Fall in Love - Rose Smoke

Crystal Earrings * Jessalynne * Pink Cardigan * ROMWE * Green Tunic * Copious * Wine Leggings * Fadhila * Green Watch * The Royal Lifestyle * Brown Bow Boots * GOjane *

Pink and green compliment each other beautifully and if the hues are just right this isn't just a perfect Spring outfit. The deep wine leggings and riding boots carry this right into look right into Fall and the lightweight cardigan is perfect for the Florida climate.  I love the Ombre crystal earrings and the sparkle that they add to every outfit. I love super flowy tops and cardigans with leggings and boots for comfort and chicness.  The little bow detail on the boot really add to the girliness of this pink look. I don't normally wear pink but the wine color of the leggings is one of my favorites for my clothes and my hair dye.

Do you wear pink or is that too girly for you?

Come Visit Jessalynne at Saturday Market

I'm excited to announce that every Saturday morning in October (and probably through December) I'll be setting up shop at the Ybor City Saturday Market. Come out and say hello if you live in the area and check out the hundreds of new pieces that I'm too lazy to post online!

This is my first market and I can't even explain to you how busy I've been building and designing everything. Each display was hand built by yours truly and I am exhausted. I've built 2 giant earring displays and am in the process of creating 4 necklace holders from reclaimed picture frames based on some of my favorite pins. They're all painted black and pretty fancy. I can't wait to get everything set up!

Hope to see you out there! Details about the market can be found here.

Running and Skipping

Chandelier Earrings * Jessalynne * Print Dress * ModCloth *
Blue is probably the only bright color I ever wear. Somehow in my head I decided that blue is a neutral and can be worn with anything and everything.  Today I paired these brilliant blue chandelier earrings with a navy and white dress, but these can really dress up any outfit. A white Tshirt and jeans, a brown and grey print dress, a hunter green maxi dress with a black blazer. See, I told you I'm crazy about blue accessories. The way these earrings dance as you move is really so beautiful that you'll want to wear them with everything in your closet any way. Don't they look like they are skipping together in the bottom photo? I love that they are in constant movement.

Do you have a go-to color and you accessorize with?

Fall in Love - Ultramarine Green

Crystal Earrings * Jessalynne * Teal Sweater * Trouve * Grey Skinny Pants * MOTO * Grey Handbag * Hashibags * Black Ankle Boots * Anthropologie *

Tomorrow is the first day of Fall and it couldn't have come any sooner. It's been hotter than, well, hotter than it should be and it's lasted way too long in Tampa.  I'm so ready to wear giant, soft sweaters and tight pants tucked into boots! I know it will only get down to 65 here but I can pretend I'm in a beautiful countryside strolling to the morning market as leaves blow apart the sidewalks.  It might be too warm for me to wear all the comfy clothes of Fall but I can still dress in all the lovely colors from Pantone's Color Report and I can still fill up my Pinterest wardrobe with pretend awesomeness.

This look is one of my favorites for cool weather. Anytime I get to wear over sized sweaters and skinny pants is the best time!  I tend to accent bright colors like teal with grey. that way the look appears chic and subdued, not over designed and way too chipper.  The Stately Stacked crystal earrings in blue and grey really influenced the color palette for this outfit and I love the little bit of sparkly they bring to it.

Stonewall Earrings

Stone Earrings * Jessalynne * Chiffon Blouse * SheInside *

Natural stones turned beads are a new obssession of mine. These were repurposed from a bracelet that needed new life. The ear hooks have the most amazing shape and create a little elegance to balance the raw looking stone.  I always pair these with colors I associate with nature - green, brown, blue and white. In this case I went with a green blouse that brings to mind the word "feathery." Is that a word? The large pockets make it look like you'd be going on a safari but the sheerness of the chiffon would be slightly impractical.  Though, for a lunch date I would say the featheriness (?) of this blouse and earrings work pretty darn well.

What would you pair with natural stone beads?

If I Do Say So

Crystal Earrings * Jessalynne * Wool Clutch *Seaecho *
I can't deny that I'm partial to the colors garnet and gold, but add a little pop of rose in there and I may or may not be squealing in delight.  These stacked earrings are pretty short but the Swarovski crystals are so brilliant that you can see them from a mile away.  Instinct, and discomfort in bright colors, makes me pair these gems with a darker accessory. The clutch has some great texture (It's made of wool!) and a lovely pattern so it still stands out even though its colors are (safely) neutrals. And the mustard tassel is like a wink to my adventurous side since she doesn't get to come out too often. This is a great pairing for Fall that can easily carry into winter. What's even better is the alternative colors that the stacked earrings come in to match every outfit!
